Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
- Assist with wellness and recreational programs and encourage residents to participate.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
