Position Overview

Village Caregiving is looking for dedicated In-Home Care Specialists to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will deliver essential healthcare support to individuals in their residences or care facilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medication reminders to clients
  • Support clients with mobility and movement within their homes and outdoors
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming
  • Conduct light housekeeping tasks that clients may struggle to complete, including meal preparation
  • Gather information regarding clients' health conditions and treatment plans from family members and healthcare professionals
  • Notify office staff and family members of any unusual occurrences
  • Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in caregiving is preferred but not mandatory
  • Commitment to following health and safety protocols
  • Understanding of household management and cooking with consideration for dietary needs
  • Must demonstrate respect and empathy with a strong bedside manner
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to fulfill job requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
