Job Title: Continuous Improvement Lean Lead

At Derby Fabricating Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Lean Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of continuous improvement and supporting the implementation of Lean methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes that result in self-sustaining continuous improvement capabilities
  • Conduct structured problem-solving with the team and develop solutions for improved performance
  • Assist and/or lead trainings on the manufacturing process and continuous improvement with operators
  • Develop and implement processes resulting in self-sustaining continuous improvement capabilities
  • Assist operations with statistical process control as it relates to specific process areas
  • Assist and/or lead troubleshooting efforts with operators when systems are down or there is deviation from processes
  • Develop the content, train, review, and assist with implementation of continuous improvement tools and kaizen action plans
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient personal computer skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of manufacturing best practices
  • Maintenance background helpful but not required
