Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures without direct physician supervision
  • Acquire, process, and transmit diagnostic images for physician interpretation
  • Evaluate and provide care for patients of various ages, including adults and geriatric patients
  • Set up and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Complete patient prep, data acquisition, processing, and transmission to the core facility
Requirements:
  • Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT (N))
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of two years of proven clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
  • Proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
