Core Group Resources Careers is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Engineer to join our team. As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing process improvements across various operations within the company.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, including inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and quality issues.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and drive alignment on improvement initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis to quantify the impact of process changes and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- Design and document new processes, including the creation of process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and training sessions to educate and engage employees in continuous improvement practices.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to leverage technology and automation in process improvements.
- Prepare and present reports, including detailed analysis, project updates, and recommendations for senior management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 7 years of operations experience, including auditing, operations analysis, and successful implementation of performance enhancement initiatives.
- Highly proficient with lean tools such as Standard Work, 5S, Visual Management, Kanban, Material Routes, Level Loading, and Poka-yoke.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- SAP, Minitab, Tableau, Denodo, Simul8 experience preferred.
