We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Hospital of Regency Park. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery, blood draws, and x-rays
- Provide exceptional patient care, including rooming patients, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs
- Conduct laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations
- 1+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician in a veterinary clinic
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment, including laboratory equipment and medical software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, clients, and other team members
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) is preferred
