Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our Med Surg / Telemetry Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to critically ill patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, and contributing to the education and professional development of nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert critical care nursing services to patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, cardiac monitoring, and other life-sustaining therapies
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols
  • Educate and mentor nursing staff on advanced critical care nursing skills and techniques
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of North Carolina or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit
  • Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off.
