Responsibilities

The responsibilities of our Personal Care Assistants and CNAs include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting members with daily living activities and personal care needs.
  • Planning and leading diverse therapeutic recreational programs to encourage member involvement.
  • Serving meals and providing assistance with dining.
  • Creating a warm, caring atmosphere that fosters a sense of belonging and joy among our members.

Qualifications

Candidates for the Personal Care Assistant and CNA positions should possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CNA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A minimum of one year of full-time equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with special needs is advantageous.
  • This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to:
    • Push, pull, lift, and transfer up to 50 pounds.
    • Sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 8 hours a day.
