Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough physical examinations and provide preventive health measures to patients
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs
Record physical findings, formulate plan and prognosis, and discuss case with Provider and other health professionals
Prepare comprehensive patient care plan and submit health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by Provider
Prescribe or recommend drugs or other forms of treatment, and refer patients to Provider for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment
Demonstrate excellence in customer service skills, foster an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration, and participate in quality improvement activities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in nursing and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or specialty
One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, and respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
