Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and continuing primary medical care services to members of families at all stages of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases.
  • Provide preventive care services, such as health screenings, vaccinations, and health education.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, therapists, and specialists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a family medicine residency program or equivalent experience.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the United States.
  • Board certification in family medicine or a related specialty.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a primary care setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technologies.
  • Fluency in a second language.
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
