As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and continuing primary medical care services to members of families at all stages of life.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases.
- Provide preventive care services, such as health screenings, vaccinations, and health education.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, therapists, and specialists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a family medicine residency program or equivalent experience.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the United States.
- Board certification in family medicine or a related specialty.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a primary care setting.
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare technologies.
- Fluency in a second language.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
