Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist at Memorial Hermann Health System, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of creating healthier communities. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team of dedicated healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medical gases, medication, and aerosols for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Perform patient assessment and basic interpretation of arterial blood gases, pulmonary function testing, and chest x-rays
  • Communicate effectively with professional colleagues and manage time effectively
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License or Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Two (2) years of critical care experience preferred
