Job Summary

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Intern for the summer of 2025. This 10-week internship program provides aspiring professionals with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop their skills, and make a real business impact on our operations.

As a Legal Intern, you will be involved in various projects, including managing escalated passenger complaints, assisting in reviewing contracts, and conducting ad hoc legal research using resources such as Practical Law. You will also have the opportunity to observe the legal process relating to aircraft lease and/or sale transactions.

Essential Functions
  • Manage escalated passenger complaints to mitigate potential losses.
  • Assist in reviewing and comparing Sun Country's Contract of Carriage against other industry leaders.
  • Conduct ad hoc legal research using resources such as Practical Law.
  • Observe the legal process relating to an aircraft lease and/or sale transaction.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at a college.
  • Minimum sophomore status by the time the internship begins.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills
  • On- or off-campus leadership experience.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven project coordination skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and establish priorities.
Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment, and routine use of standard office equipment is required. The successful candidate must be able to complete the full 10-week internship program from June to August 2025.

Estimated Salary Range

$15-$20 per hour, depending on experience, with a total estimated salary range of $25,000 to $35,000 for the duration of the internship.
