Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to provide support for a Department of the Navy (DoN) client. This role is contingent upon the successful award of a contract.
At RMC, we are dedicated to delivering top-notch management and technology solutions that uphold the safety and preservation of the United States and its environment.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $160,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain the integrity of existing systems.
- Supervise the development and installation of new hardware and software solutions.
- Install and configure operating systems and other software, regularly testing for issues.
- Provide technical guidance to IT support personnel.
- Ensure the continuous availability of technical resources.
- Design and implement security measures and backup systems to safeguard data.
- Create custom scripts to minimize the need for manual intervention.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience with Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 infrastructure.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Firewall, IDS, and/or IPS administration and configuration.
- Experience in cabling management.
- A minimum of five (5) years of securing a Cisco environment in compliance with DISA STIGs.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent is required.
- Interim DoD SECRET Clearance is required to start, with potential for a TS clearance.
- A Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- Advanced Cyber Certifications such as GSLC, CISSP, CISM, CAP, or CASP.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in scoping, architecture, and design of new network infrastructure, including cryptographic and long-haul requirements.
