Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Maintain and prepare surgical equipment, supplies, and instruments, adhering to strict sterilization and quality control standards.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective workflow, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Provide exceptional patient care, responding to their needs and concerns in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Surgical Technology preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a similar medical setting, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, with frequent exertion of 10-20 pounds.
- Willingness to work in a patient care area, with exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue.
