Job Overview

The Telluride Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join their team in Ann Arbor, MI. This part-time position involves overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the Michigan Branch of the MBTA, a scholarship house. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, managing repairs and maintenance requests, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Management: Conduct regular property inspections, perform or coordinate basic repairs, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and costs.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee lawn care, snow removal, and other sub-contracted facilities services, ensuring the property meets all applicable fire, safety, and health codes.
  • Communication and Coordination: Develop and maintain good working relationships with residents, staff, Board members, vendors, and outside contractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of professional experience in construction or residential maintenance.
  • Mechanically inclined with a working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Estimated Salary: $24.22/hour
