Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon interaction.
- Ensure guest rooms are cleaned to high standards within the designated time frame, utilizing techniques such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Change bed linens and replenish towels and other amenities as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures; clean furniture, walls, and equipment.
- Alert management regarding necessary repairs in guest rooms.
- Handle guest items left in rooms according to the lost and found policy.
- Adhere to safe work practices, utilizing protective safety equipment and following MSDS and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with house person and lobby attendant duties during peak times or when short-staffed.
- Be mindful of guest satisfaction scores and strive to enhance departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
- Ensure a high level of overall guest satisfaction.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or equivalent training is required.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
- Work schedule may vary and could include holidays and weekends.
- Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing and pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds, and using cleaning chemicals.
