We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Thompson Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare for each assigned case, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for the surgical patient.
- Act as an active member of the surgical team, working collaboratively to provide high-quality care.
- Clear the Operating Room efficiently following each case, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Provide optimal perioperative care to meet the needs of the patient, adhering to current nursing research and quality improvement monitoring results.
- Surgical Technologist Certification through the NY State Department of Education or NYS Licensed Practical Nurse Degree.
- BLS certification required.
- Previous experience as a surgical scrub tech preferred.
- Knowledge of sterility preferred.
