Skilled Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist

At Intermountain Health, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Registered Nurse in our Physical Rehabilitation department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care to our patients.
About the RoleThis position requires a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about helping others achieve their full potential. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with a focus on both psychological and physical needs.
You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique requirements. Your expertise will be essential in fostering quality care, promoting patient safety, and ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities- Assess and recognize patients' psychological and physical needs
- Foster quality care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind
- Communicate compassionately and effectively
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
- Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
- Participate in clinical team conferences
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- An ASN/ADN degree or BSN degree (completion of BSN within four years from date of hire unless exempt)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire
As a Registered Nurse at Intermountain Health, you can expect a fast-paced and dynamic work environment that requires:
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
We offer a competitive hourly rate, which ranges from $*** to $*** per hour, dependent upon experience.
