Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Mother Baby (Days)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Glens Falls Hospital. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to laboring mothers and newborns
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of current Epic experience required
  • 2+ years of current L&D/LDRP experience
  • 2+ years of Post Partum experience
  • Ability to read and interpret EFM
  • Travel experience encouraged
  • Must have own vehicle
  • No block scheduling will be considered for this need

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EFM or AWHONN certification strongly encouraged
