Agricultural Loan Officer Job Description

At GPAC, we're seeking a skilled Agricultural Loan Officer to join our team. As an Ag Lending Professional, you'll play a crucial role in helping farmers and rural citizens access the funds they need to grow their operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a loan portfolio to achieve sales goals and meet profitability benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, business owners, and other stakeholders in the agricultural industry.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to provide expert guidance and support.
  • Promote new business development and work collaboratively with support staff and executive management to drive growth.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of community banking experience, with a strong background in agriculture lending.
  • Personal and professional experience in agriculture is essential, with a passion for helping others succeed.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree or corresponding education and related training in a relevant field.
