Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Woodgrain. As an Assembly Specialist, you will play a critical role in assembling and fabricating pre-hung door units, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly and Fabrication
    • Assemble and fabricate pre-hung door units according to specifications and quality standards.
    • Prepare components for assembly, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect assembled units for quality and accuracy.
    • Identify and report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure timely completion of orders and meet deadlines.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to operate a forklift and reach truck.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
