Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at the University of California. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing radioactive materials and pharmaceuticals in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radionuclide imaging of organs, organ systems, and physiologic functions
- Assay body fluids, tissues, and radiobioassays
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, following established protocols
- Enter complex data into computer systems
- Review, verify, and evaluate images to ensure technical quality and image quality
- Recent graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine technology program
- California Radiology Technologist of Nuclear Medicine (CRT-N) certification
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist issued by NMTCB and/or ARRT (R.T(N)(ARRT)
- BART or BLS certification at time of hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six months
- Six months of hospital experience
- Understanding of radiological computerized systems and applications
This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed. The successful candidate must also be able to work various locations based on business needs.
