Job SummaryThe Patient Navigator will play a critical role in collaborating with our clinical team to provide a seamless patient experience. This includes genetics education, registration and scheduling, specimen collection, and liaison services between patients, radiologists, pathologists, and referring physicians.
Responsibilities- Provide genetics education to high-risk patients
- Register and schedule follow-up appointments for genetic testing
- Collect specimens for genetic testing
- Liaise between patients, radiologists, pathologists, and referring physicians
- Verify insurance and obtain authorization
- Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians
We're looking for a certified medical assistant with at least 1 year of experience in imaging. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
