As a Pulmonologist/Critical Care Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of 20 providers and oversee the medical center's pulmonary and critical care services.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the pulmonary and critical care services at a nonprofit coastal medical center
  • Lead a team of 20 providers and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other medical directors to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and manage the department's budget and resources
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Board certification in both pulmonology and critical care medicine
  • Fellowship training in critical care medicine
  • Leadership experience in a medical setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
