Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Serve as a client relationship representative, listening to customer needs, researching solutions, and resolving complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Credit Analysis and Risk Management: Provide guided levels of support to Commercial Relationship Bankers and the lending team on commercial relationships, monitoring compliance with legal, regulatory, and credit policies, and correcting exceptions.
- Loan Processing and Underwriting: Coordinate the credit underwriting process, prepare credit approval packages, and monitor loan agreement covenants and borrowing base compliance.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Ensure timely receipt of financial information consistent with bank policy, monitor loan agreement covenants and borrowing base compliance, and report exceptions.
- Business Development and Community Involvement: Proactively ensure expiring credit facilities are re-underwritten and appropriately re-established, consult with Relationship Managers and Credit to make recommendations on risk ratings, and participate in community organizations to improve the bank's visibility and enhance business opportunities.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of one to three years of credit analysis and/or lending experience.
- Skills and Competencies: Advanced knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and terminology, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This job requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
