The Project Manager (PM) plays a crucial role in guiding and managing all aspects of assigned projects. Acting as the primary liaison for clients, the PM ensures that projects are executed with excellence in quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities:

The PM will oversee a team of engineers and technicians working on multiple projects, including:
  • Managing project schedules and team assignments
  • Ensuring productivity and billable hours are optimized
  • Taking full responsibility for the preparation and development of contract documents
  • Coordinating projects of varying sizes and complexities
  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the team
  • Collaborating with leadership to enhance production standards and processes
Project Management Duties:

The PM will routinely engage with leadership regarding project progress and will be responsible for:
  • Developing strategic project plans
  • Preparing and negotiating scopes of work and fee proposals
  • Creating production budgets and schedules
  • Organizing and leading project meetings
  • Ensuring project profitability and adherence to quality standards
  • Providing mentorship to team members
Marketing and Business Development:

The PM will also play a role in securing new business by:
  • Identifying opportunities and planning strategic pursuits
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials
  • Negotiating client scopes of work and fees
Essential Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience in Site Design, including Pavement Design, Site Layout, and Stormwater Management
  • Strong presentation skills for client and stakeholder interactions
  • Ability to interpret and execute project assignments effectively
  • Research skills for addressing technical challenges
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
