Job Title: Medical Surgical RN

We're looking for a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse in Cambridge, MA.

As a MedSurg RN, you'll provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes. This travel nurse position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, treating patients with diverse medical needs.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Medical Surgical Travel Nurse, you'll be responsible for conducting patient assessments, prioritizing data collection, and implementing appropriate treatments as ordered by physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
  • Administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
  • Prepare equipment and aid physicians during examination and treatment of patients.
  • Educate patients on surgical procedures.
  • Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physicians.
