Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Center Store Associate to join our Grocery Department team at Food Lion. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our products are accurately stocked and displayed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelves and shelf tag moldings
  • Stock merchandise from tag to tag, ensuring that only saleable products are displayed
  • Understand and use company tools, such as ACIS and CAO, to optimize inventory management and ordering
  • Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Wear the Food Lion uniform and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on duty
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
  • Ability to use technical information to solve problems
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
