Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Creative Solutions in Healthcare - East. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering Physical Therapy Treatments: Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
  • Providing Skilled Physical Therapy Services: Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Responding to Requests for Service: Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to Physical Therapist.
  • Implementing and Modifying Treatment Plans: Implements and modifies the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment with PT supervision.
  • Measuring and Recording Patient Progress: Measures & records patient's motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
  • Monitoring Patient Response: Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.
  • Providing Clinical Support and Education: Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
  • Ensuring Accurate Documentation: Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.
  • Attending Required Meetings: Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
Requirements
  • Active/Valid Texas License: Active/Valid Texas license as Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Good Standing with Regulatory Agencies: In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
  • SNF/Long Term Care Experience: SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
  • Current Knowledge of Treatment Practices: Current knowledge of treatment practices.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Documentation Systems: Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
  • Ability to Manage Patients with Different Personalities: Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
