Job Title: Welding Quality Assurance Specialist
Compensation: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
Everstaff is actively seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Welding Quality Assurance Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing the integrity and adherence to standards of welding operations across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing project documentation, including material submissions and technical drawings.
- Confirming the qualifications and certifications of welding personnel and facilities.
- Executing visual assessments of welds to check for dimensions, positioning, and any imperfections.
- Carrying out Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, or Liquid Dye Penetrant examinations as required.
- Effectively documenting and communicating inspection findings through comprehensive reports.
- Holding an AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification with experience in D1.1 standards.
- Proficient in various testing methodologies.
- Capable of interpreting and analyzing construction documentation.
- Adhering to safety protocols and utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Being adaptable and able to navigate diverse project sites.
