Job Description:

Job Title: Market Director

Job Summary:

The Market Director is a key leadership role responsible for managing and directing all personnel and operations within their assigned market. This includes financial management, budgeting, operations, and coaching individual direct reports on their performance and key performance indicator (KPI) achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L Management: Responsible for managing the profit and loss (P&L) of the market, including achieving top-line growth and bottom-line performance as indicated in the annual budgets.
  • Coaching and Development: Coach direct reports on their sales call standard work, including planning, executing, and follow-up, using monthly reports and Einstein capabilities to direct them to methods to reduce non-value-added activities.
  • LLO Identification and Assignment: Identify all geographic relevant lead location opportunities (LLOs) and ensure they are assigned to the appropriate sales professionals, ensuring balanced assignments and maintaining proper LLO lists.
  • Performance Management: Track and counsel employees not completing required LLO/initiative calls per quarter, ensuring all company policies are followed, and ensuring the Game Changer CRM is properly used by the sales force.
  • Relationship Building: Build and manage relationships with region principals, communicating with them on a regular basis, and meeting with distributors and major operators to review Acxion performance and ensure KeyImpact is viewed as the premier agency.
  • Personnel Decisions: Make all personnel decisions with input from Segment VPs, working closely with Segment VPs to ensure segment policy, programs, and initiatives are properly executed against.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Develop budgets for both sales and profits to be approved, ensuring all staff is properly trained and assigned appropriate courses in Acxion University to further support their development.
  • Performance Reviews: Ensure all performance reviews are completed on time and company goals are being met while addressing any performance issues and working with Zone/Segment VPs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen for developing and managing a profitable P&L.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to work independently with little supervision, prioritize/plan your schedule, and multi-task.
  • Knowledge: College degree in business or related field or equivalent experience, with over 10 years of previous sales experience and 5 years of management experience in directing the workflow of others.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of brokerage business and relationships to principals and overall business, experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
