Position Title: Procurement Specialist / Service Parts Coordinator

Role Summary:

As a Procurement Specialist / Service Parts Coordinator, you will serve as the primary liaison for our internal and external clients, addressing their HVAC and Building Automation parts requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and sourcing parts and equipment for field technicians and account managers.
  • Managing orders for project materials and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Overseeing purchase order processes, including creation, documentation, and closure.
  • Collaborating with warehouse personnel on material receipt.
  • Handling Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for returned items.
  • Acquiring tools for field service technicians.
  • Coordinating equipment and tool rentals.
  • Aligning material requirements with dispatchers for labor planning.
  • Managing calibration and maintenance of field service tools.
  • Maintaining inventory of service parts and materials.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service and relationship management.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in customer service or procurement, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational abilities and multi-tasking skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients, even under pressure.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, including MS Office 365.
  • Familiarity with the industry is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

This position is primarily office-based, involving frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
