Responsibilities- Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets
- Assist with surgeries and procedures, adhering to state Veterinary Practice Act guidelines
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients
- Use safe restraining techniques and maintain clean, sterile treatment areas
- Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members
- Outgoing and personable with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Empathetic and compassionate with at least 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital
- CA RVT license or actively working towards licensing
- Knowledge of basic veterinary practices, procedures, and terminology
- Ability to handle, lift, and restrain animals and stand for long periods
- Basic organizational and computer skills
