About the Role:

Job Summary:

A Registered Nurse implements the nursing process for each patient assigned to their care, ensuring safe and effective care delivery. The role requires coordination of direct and indirect care within established parameters.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Maintain accurate records, documenting patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to continuous learning and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; exceptions apply.
  • Active Kentucky License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
