Job Summary: Clayton Homes is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Home Building Leadership Development Program as a Manager In Training. This role is designed to prepare the trainee for a future leadership position in one of our home building facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a structured training program to gain knowledge about processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Rotate through assignments related to the manufacturing process to develop skills and expertise.
  • Actively participate in facility projects to gain deeper knowledge into the business.
  • Present to executive leaders at the end of each phase of the program.
  • Produce weekly summary reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; prior construction experience preferred.
  • Must be able to relocate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, and crawl for a prolonged amount of time on a routine basis.

  • 25% +
  • Dependent on opportunities for learning in the program
