About the Role

Bethesda Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality long-term care to our residents. As a vital member of our staff, you will be responsible for assessing residents' health status and educational needs, developing care plans, and providing necessary nursing interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess residents' health status and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring residents' conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Stay current with best practices in long-term care and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an RN license
  • Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within six months
  • Preferably with long-term care experience
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Physical capability to stand and walk for long periods, lift heavy objects, transfer and move patients, and perform necessary documentation
  • Visual acuity with the ability to distinguish color
