Job Title: Admissions Counselor

Join Alliant International University as an Admissions Counselor and play a vital role in shaping the future of our students. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for recruiting and managing the admissions process for all Alliant degree programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide admissions counseling to prospective students, guiding them through the application process and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Manage the admissions applications process, coordinating interviews between applicants and faculty members.
  • Offer exceptional customer service to prospective students, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Effectively communicate program offerings and details to prospective students, highlighting the unique benefits of Alliant International University.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with applicants throughout the admissions process, tracking all interactions using our CRM system.
  • Attend recruitment fairs, conventions, and conferences to promote Alliant International University and engage with prospective students.
  • Coordinate and present program information at open houses, informational webinars, community colleges, and local businesses.
  • Deliver weekly reports and admission updates to Program Directors and Associate Director of Admissions & Associate Campus Director/Campus Director.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in a college/university admissions department and/or two or more years of customer service, sales, or marketing experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce, and integrated business software systems in higher education.
  • Sensitivity to cultural diversity and ability to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Excellent typing skills, including speed and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as a team player, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
