About the Role:

Vibrantz Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Control Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plant packaging and process instrumentation, as well as plant Distributed Control System, programmable controllers, and HMIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of plant packaging and process instrumentation, plant Distributed Control System, programmable controllers, and HMIs.
  • Perform general electrical work, including installation of conduit and wiring.
  • Repair mechanical power transmission, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, pumps, and actuators.
  • Document all work effectively.
  • Respond to scheduled PM efforts through interfacing with the plant's SAP maintenance system.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of experience with process and packaging equipment and other plant electrical control systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with plant computer networks.
  • Experience programming and designing plant control and interface systems.
  • Proficient in PLC and DCS troubleshooting and repair, as well as troubleshooting and repair of VAC systems.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and data, with a working knowledge of NFPA 70E.
  • Possess good math skills, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Formal technical education preferred.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.
