Job Summary

City of Hope is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist - Hematology/Oncology to join our team. As a key member of our hematology/oncology care team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients undergoing stem cell transplants and other complex medical treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan care for patients with hematological malignancies and solid tumors
  • Implement and evaluate treatment plans, including complex IV therapy and medication administration
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of hematology/oncology procedures, treatments, and equipment

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of acute care experience
  • Graduate of NLNAC or CCNE School of Nursing, and licensed in the state of IL
  • OCN Certification within 18 months of hire or 36 total CE in Oncology every Commission of Cancer cycle of three years
