Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team at the Pediatric Heart Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level.
  • Deliver safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Provide health education and promote patient empowerment, ensuring patients and families are equipped to manage their care.
  • Participate in shared governance, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote a healthy work environment.
  • Engage in peer review and professional development, promoting leadership and clinical excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
  • A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
