We are seeking a skilled Regional CDL A Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at Wynne Transport Service, Inc. As a Regional Tanker Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling chemical hazmat products around the New Haven area.
Job Details- Company: Up to $0.68 per practical mile (loaded and empty + supplemental pay) or median $1,650 per week
- Owner Operator: 70% of linehaul/accessorial charges and 100% of Fuel Surcharge or median $5,200 per week to the truck
Key Requirements:
- Single Hull Stainless Steel Tanker Trailer
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Required (if you don't have it, we can provide resources for you to obtain it)
- Operating within a 1,000 or 1,500-mile radius of your home
Home Time:
- On the road 6 days followed by 1.5 days home time (34-hour reset)
- Every 7 days an additional 1.5 days home time (34-hour reset)

Hiring Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements
- 2 years of recent driving preferred
- OTR drivers must obtain TWIC
- Must have a valid DOT medical card
- Pass a urine drug test
- English proficiency required
- Eligible to work in the United States
Core Responsibilities:
- Being available for work at all times to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules
- Submitting customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure
- Maintaining a driver's log by DOT regulations
