Job Description:
School District 91 is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support the delivery of our written, taught, tested, and reported curriculum. The successful candidate will contribute to maximizing student achievement by providing administrative assistance to our Speech and Language Pathologists.

The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree in a SLPA program or a bachelor's degree in a speech language pathology or communication disorders program, with a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent. Additionally, they must demonstrate competency in the skills required of an SLPA, obtain Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licensers (IBOL) SLPA licensure prior to beginning employment, and hold a valid Idaho driver's license. Responsibilities:
  • Self-identify as SLPAs to families, students, patients, clients, staff, and others.
  • Exhibit compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations, reimbursement requirements, and SLPAs' responsibilities.
  • Assist SLPs with speech, language, and hearing screenings without clinical interpretation.
  • Document student performance and report this information to supervising SLPs.

This is a limited full-time position scheduled for 29 hours a week. Estimated salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
