Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at El Camino Health. As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and recording Electroencephalographic (EEG), Continuous EEG (c. EEG), and Transcranial Doppler (TCD) procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and record EEG, c. EEG, and TCD procedures according to established ECH guidelines.
  • Provide findings, results, and descriptive analysis according to facility policy and procedures.
  • Perform procedures appropriate to your competence and credentials held under general technical supervision.
  • May be requested to perform routine EKG and/or Stress Test Procedures within your skill set and/or level of training.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program, or an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • Equivalent EEG training may be approved by the Medical Director and/or EEG Manager based on candidate's other qualifications and level of experience.
  • Knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology.
  • Knowledge and practice of electrical safety relevant to Neurodiagnostic equipment.
  • Knowledge of computer equipment and software used in functional area.
  • Strong, well-developed communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and able to work independently, under stressful conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in performing Transcranial Doppler (TCD) is preferred.
  • EKG experience is preferred; candidate must be willing to be cross-trained and perform EKGs.
