Senior Paralegal/Case Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal/Case Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a direct hire hybrid position that requires advanced paralegal and case management skills, with extensive litigation, investigation, and general case management experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with attorneys, outside agencies, vendors, and professional staff to ensure seamless case management.
  • Prepare and review court and agency filings with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Support trial/arbitration or hearings in various forums, utilizing expertise in litigation support.
  • Conduct factual research, cite-checking, proofreading, and organization of documents and files.
  • Coordinate with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel to ensure effective case management.
  • Work with litigation support staff and attorneys to assess and oversee case needs and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Eight + years' experience as a case manager/legal assistant preferred; four-year degree preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail.
  • Well-developed proofreading, cite-checking, and Bluebooking skills.
  • Proficient experience with database platforms, Westlaw, LEXIS, and Best Authority.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and travel.
