About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Major Account Manager at Palo Alto Networks. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving and orchestrating complex sales cycles, working closely with our internal partners and teams to best serve our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position our portfolio of solutions
  • Create clear goals and complete accurate forecasting through developing a detailed territory plan
  • Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for that specific account
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect our products and services
  • Travel as necessary within your territory, and to company-wide meetings

About You

We're looking for a sales professional with a proven track record of success in selling complex solutions, value selling, and consultative sales techniques. You should have experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security industry. You should also be able to cultivate relationships with our channel partners to bring a channel-centric go-to-market approach to our customers.
