Job Responsibilities

As a Thin Film Process Specialist, you will lead efforts to improve cell efficiency by identifying areas of potential improvement and exploring new methods and materials to serve as alternatives in thin-film devices.

Your responsibilities will include designing, executing, and analyzing engineering tests, performing data analysis, and coordinating all necessary analytical follow-up and interpretation of results.

You will also realize tool capabilities by implementing changes and/or working with tool owners to coordinate tool changes, identify key process characteristics based on your understanding of the material science and process technology, and communicate results of engineering tests in a clear and concise manner to upper management, development/manufacturing engineers, and production personnel.

This role requires successful interaction with other development, manufacturing, and production personnel to carry out engineering tests on the production line, ensuring adherence to all safety and environmental procedures as well as housekeeping standards.
