Position Overview:


We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Front of House Supervisor to join our team and assist the General Manager in overseeing our front-of-house operations.

In the role of Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring that restaurant operations run smoothly and efficiently during service hours.

Your responsibilities will include managing the dining area, leading the front of house team, and maintaining our high standards of guest service.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate front-of-house personnel, including servers, hosts, and support staff, to ensure peak performance during service hours.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and assistance to front-of-house staff to uphold high standards of service, professionalism, and efficiency.
  • Monitor dining room activities to guarantee a positive experience for guests, addressing any issues or concerns swiftly and effectively.
  • Assist with seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and enhance restaurant capacity.
  • Oversee beverage service, including beer and wine selections, ensuring accurate serving and compliance with alcohol service regulations.
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a courteous and professional manner, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and support staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery while maintaining overall service flow.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, both inside and out.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of food, equipment, and cleaning supplies.
  • Perform opening and closing tasks, including cash handling, reconciling sales, and securing the restaurant premises.
  • Assist the General Manager in various duties to ensure hospitality standards and business objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a leadership position within the restaurant sector, ideally in a similar venue offering beer and wine.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capability to inspire and guide staff toward excellence in customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Knowledge of beverage service, including pouring techniques and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
