General Manager Job Description

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Taco Bell restaurant. This includes ensuring 100% customer satisfaction, managing labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage restaurant operations, including scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality food and service standards.
  • Control profit and loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, and reviewing financial reports.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members, conduct performance appraisals, and take discipline action as needed.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance program.
  • Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs.
  • Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team.
Requirements:
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Good communication skills, and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional team building capability.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • Basic personal computer literacy.
  • College or university degree preferred, but will consider experience.
  • Supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including profit and loss responsibility.
