Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Advisor Services Cost Basis Team at Charles Schwab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our advisors, answering phone calls, and responding to client and service team requests.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for conducting training for advisors and business partners, accurately processing statement and cost basis enrollment forms, and providing flexible solutions to meet the needs of our advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer in-bound calls from advisors, AS Service, and Alliance representatives
  • Respond to client and service team requests received via email
  • Conduct training for advisors and business partners
  • Accurately process statement and cost basis enrollment forms

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of customer service experience (internships and collegiate activities will be considered)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple processes/projects
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team orientation, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
  • Knowledge in internet-based research, personal workstations/desktop applications
  • Intermediate Excel skills, with the ability to handle large amounts of data using Excel
  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ year experience in the financial industry
  • Experience working with regulatory or risk issues preferred
  • SIE or Series 7 preferred, but not required
