Job Overview: As an integral part of the Facilities and Plant Engineering (F&PE) division, the chosen candidate will oversee a variety of multifaceted Facilities Engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage corporate capital, overhead, and government-funded project timelines and financial plans (Maximo).
- Supervise the design and provide assistance for construction tasks using CAD software design tools (MicroStation, Project Wise, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with other engineering teams, internal stakeholders, and A&E contractors to ensure projects are economically viable, adhere to budget constraints, and meet specified design standards and timelines.
- Formulate Statements of Work (SOWs), Baseline Agreements (BLA), cost assessments (BOE), and financial plans.- Create and maintain precise Microsoft project timelines.
- Generate reports, drawings, and specifications for a diverse range of projects.
- Make independent, informed recommendations and design development choices.
- Conduct technical evaluations for design, bidding, and construction documentation.
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Manage modifications in project scope.
- Analyze capacity and demand for utility systems and plan for growth as necessary.
- Provide technical assistance to the Facilities and Maintenance team as a system.
- Coordinate with internal partners across various departments to ensure that funding requests for Capital, Direct, Overhead, or Air Force Rent Credit are submitted and approved in line with the Long Range Plan (LRP) and other program objectives.
- Recognize project or program risks and implement actions to minimize or eliminate impacts on existing strategic office/lab plans.
- Capable of leading or assisting in various studies for any current or emerging program or project.- Prepare and deliver presentations to various stakeholders and project teams as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Facilities Engineering, including Construction, Design, or relevant trades
- Proficiency with Design Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, REVIT2, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
- Facilities Engineering experience
- Knowledge of Integrated Master Scheduling
- Familiarity with Construction Design/Application
- Mechanical/Maintenance training
- Experience in Construction Project Management/Planning
Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for consideration.
Work Arrangement: Part-time remote work available.
Remote Work Details:
The selected candidate will have a hybrid work schedule, combining remote work with time spent at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedule Options: Lockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules, offering additional flexibility to employees. Schedules may range from a standard 40-hour work week to condensed formats, providing employees with extra time away from the office, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
Position Schedule: 4x10 hour days, with three days off each week.
Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this position in certain states is $91,300 - $175,000. This salary information serves as a general guideline.

Full-time Employee Benefits:
Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on the start date during the calendar year.This position is eligible for an incentive plan.
Compensation Range:
The annual base salary range for this position in major metropolitan areas is $105,000 - $197,800. This salary information serves as a general guideline.
